CarLoader : CarLoader is a program that keeps track of cars and tracks for Midtown Madness. I suggest getting this program (http://drive.to/carloader). The Aries is not compatible with CarLoader. It will read the file as "(error) vpkcop.ar". To fix it, let it finish loading, then right click "(error) vpkcop.ar" and select "Change Name" and change it to "'88 Dodge Aries Cop Car". Move the picture that's included in the zip to your CarLoader images folder. To view the picture, right click "'88 Dodge Aries" and select "View".

Recommended : 80-100% Physics, anything lower and the car's steering gets too sensitive and it may tip on two wheels. If you do use it under 80%, then be prepared to fall out of your seat laughing at the way it handles. Reflections kinda suck, so it's best if reflections are off.

Notes : It's a K-Car! Chrysler Corporations' famous compact. Almost all front wheel drive cars from Chrysler in the '80s were based on this car including the famous Caravan/Voyager. It's base engine is a 2.2L I4 and it works well, but is underpowered.

This MM re-creation has recessed headlights, recessed license plate area, 3D mirrors, and a raised portion of the hood. It makes sense that the tuning and sounds are from the Lancer because almost all the '80s FWD Chrysler Corp cars used the 2.2L I4 as the base engine. All sounds (except the horn) are from the Lancer. The horn is from the '68 Mustang in-game and it works well. The selection screen sound is from the game "Driver". If you have a problem with the sounds, turn off your speakers. The tuning is the same as teh other Aries because it's suppose to be a used car turned into a patrol car. Don't complain! Plus it would make the World's Slowest CnR game fair. Each color has it's own license plate (courtesy of ACME License Plate Maker - http://www.acme.com/licensemaker/). The first color scheme is of a patrol car that maybe a local mall has. Lamer patrol is there just for fun since this Aries is equipted with a special radar that disables all lamer's car's spark plugs (not really possible if you think about it). The dash is as accurate as can be. It has a little button on the dash that turns on the sirens and a CB radio!

Known issues : The bottom is just black, no details. It hits curbs when you least expect it to. There are some cracks in the dash. Just ignore them. The guages are not perfect half circles so the needles will go out of the white markings at certain times.
