*** Update ***

This version has been fixed to work on software render and multiplayer modes. The cause of the original to crash in software render and multiplayer was the wheels. I manage to make new wheels which cut about 800 polys total from the old file. The new wheels use the same texture, but has a different mesh. It will override the old file, but I intentionally wanted that to happen. It has the exact same body, textures, and tuning as the old file. If I hadn't told you what I fixed, you'd have to have a sharp eye to tell. ;)

CarLoader : CarLoader is a program that keeps track of cars and tracks for Midtown Madness. I suggest getting this program (http://drive.to/carloader). The Ford is not compatible with CarLoader. If it reads the file as "(error) vp86cv351.ar", then let it finish loading, then right click "(error) vp86cv351.ar" and select "Change Name" and change it to "'86 Ford Crown Victoria 351ci". Move the picture that's included in the zip to your CarLoader images folder. To view the picture, right click "'86 Ford Crown Victoria 351ci" and select "View".

Recommended : 80-100% Physics, anything lower and the car's steering gets too sensitive and it may tip on two wheels.

Notes :

It's a full-sized Ford sedan. This car is very well known. This MM re-creation has recessed headlights, recessed rear license plate, recessed taillights, 3D mirrors, hood ornament, 3D bumpers, and a raised portion of the hood. The horn is from the '68 Mustang in-game and it works well. The selection screen sound is from The Ramone's "Blitzkrieg Bop." If you have a problem with the sounds, turn off your speakers. The tuning is pretty good for a 2 ton car. The shocks are tuned to be slightly soft for the big car feeling. It powerslides really good. Just tap the handbrakes to get it sliding. If you start to oversteer, give lots of counter steer to correct it. It takes some getting used to the tuning. It can do 0-60 in about 6-7 seconds and a top speed of about 140 MPH. Each color has it's own license plate (courtesy of ACME License Plate Maker - http://www.acme.com/licensemaker/ and the License Plate Shack - http://www.plateshack.com/plateshack.html). It features the black LTD from the movie "Men in Black." It's missing the little red button and the transformation ;) . The dash is a special HUD. I made this for several reasons. First, the real Ford dash has a horizontal speedometer. And second, dashes are a pain in butt to make, so this saves me time making cars. If you complain to me about the dash, I'm going to tell you to make a dash. Also, the wheels show some of the polys in the selection screen, but aren't visible in-game. I've also added a bottom tex to the car. This is the first car of mine to have a bottom texture other than a solid black color.

Known issues : The hubs on the wheels have the polys showing in the selection screen, but the wheels are fine in-game.
